Ultrasonic Carburetor Cleaner

A basic ultrasonic carburetor cleaner is a device that uses sound waves to transfer dirt, grease, and other materials into the air stream. The resulting steam then forces the waste material down through a small tube and outside of the engine. Most of the carburetor and engine cleaning applications are either the ultrasonic clean or the ultrasonic carburetor clean. There are other types of carburetor cleaning machines like the injector carburetor clean and the injector charcoal cleaner.

An ultrasonic cleaner does not require any sort of anesthetic because the sound produced will not so much appeal to your sense of taste as will the burning smell of fuel that they produce. You can clean your engines in the comfort of your own home without having to take it out of its carrying case. They are also relatively inexpensive when compared to other options. They also do not cost much to run.

There are some other things to consider with this type of carburetor cleaner. First of all, you have to keep in mind that if you happen to run over a piece of metal with one of these cleaning implements, you could cause a strip to fall off on your engine or can scratch the paintwork underneath your car. Also, an ultrasonic carburetor does not work well with magnesium, which is one of the most commonly used materials in a vehicle. Lastly, an ultrasonic cleaner does not fit with some types of gas systems like gasoline. This type of cleaner will not work effectively in a variety of different applications.
